Trudy Myrrh Reagan, Stanford B.A. in art, 1958, has treated subjects such as patterns in nature and science ideas in printmaking, batik and shibori, painting and digital art since 1967. YLEM: Artists Using Science and Technology, the organization she founded, presented public programs in the San Francisco Bay Area from 1981 to 2009.

As an artist, Reagan, who since 1980 goes by Myrrh, has always felt pulled in two directions: on the one hand, to paint colorful scientific-looking abstractions http://www.myrrh-art.com, or to use her talent to express her dismay at political and social conditions. Income inequality, especially for people on the bottom like the homeless, troubles her a great deal. The constitutional questions raised in the Hearings are still vivid today. In addition, the government has "total information awareness" tools for surveillance, and resorts to torture when pressed. I fear these are tools for a police state.
